IT is the sober part of my life, photography is the door to get out of this frame and live my creativity. The motorsport scene is felt to be a parallel universe to our normal world which is becoming increasingly restricted. The motorsport is full of emotions, passion, striving for the podium, fight with and against the technology - that took me on my first visit to the VLN immediately and I had fallen for motorsport as a photographer. In particular, the VLN and other recreational sports series are fascinating, because you live from the proximity to the audience and offer all interested parties insights into every detail. Motorsport is not just about photographing the cars in action, which alone is a goose-quack experience, and over the years I've learned to love the pit lane more and more. Here, the emotions are experienced up close, you are an observer of Sigesreuden and dramas. All these emotions are "beamed" from the track directly into the pit lane and manifest themselves to pictures in my camera ....

Human forms the standard in my designs, be it as a living space, working environment or observer. In my photography, man is the motor of all movement, technology the instrument with the racetrack as a stage. "Form follows function" is the name in architecture, "Form follows emotion" in my imagery. The focus is on humans as pilots, mechanics and viewers of the scene with the course as a framework.
